Registration for 3rd grade basketball open
We are excited to be able to offer 3rd Grade basketball this year. Season: November 6 - Mid March Game Location: All games will take place at the Arrillaga Gym in Menlo Park on Saturdays with various start times. More information to follow. Parents are responsible for all transportation. Max Team Size: League rules state that we need a minimum of 9 players and a maximum of 12 players on each team. Based on interest surveys, we do not anticipate having more than 1 team per grade level. So the first 12 to sign up will be rostered to the team. If you attempt to register and the team is already full, please register for the waitlist. If we get 6 more players registered on the waitlist at your grade level and have enough volunteer coaches, we will create 2 teams of 9 (which is the league minimum to register). Waitlist: When a team hits registration capacity, the link will let you know that registration is closed. It is important to fill out this form so we know exactly how many players are interested in participating. If this form collects enough players to form a 2nd team, you will be notified and a new registration link will be sent to the email you provide on the waitlist form. Basketball Suggested Donation: $300
Our ability to offer individual sports depends upon donations from the families of student participants. Your donation supports the many expenses associated with offering a quality and competitive after school sports program, including equipment, officials, league fees, scorekeepers, and uniforms. Based upon the actual cost of offering an after school sports program, we are asking each family to make a donation of $300 per student. While a donation is not required, if we do not receive sufficient participant donations, the program may be cancelled and all donations will be returned. Funds are available for those in need and requests made to the school principal will be handled confidentially.
