WELCOME BACK! LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!
The PV PTO is the Portola Valley Parent-Teacher Organization and is comprised of all parents or legal guardians of students who currently attend Ormondale School or Corte Madera School and all current faculty and staff of the PVSD. Its purpose is to promote and support the education and welfare of the students in the Portola Valley School District and to strengthen the relationship between home and school by facilitating communication and encouraging cooperation among parents, teachers, administrators, the school board and the community. The PTO establishes this intention in numerous ways, including:
Our district thrives on volunteering and unique community participation. Please take a look HERE for some of the ways you can be involved this school year. Your involvement in your child’s school does make a difference!
Funds to support all PTO-sponsored programs are generated through direct donations from parents and fundraisers. We are excited about the fundraising events we have planned for this school year. Watch the PTO Weekly for more info!
We ask parents to donate to the PTO in the first few weeks of school to support the coming year’s programs and activities. CLICK HERE TO DONATE. Your financial support is a critical way to ensure that the programs that make our school community so special continue year after year.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact one of us.
Sincerely,
Jacquelyn Davis, CMS PTO President ([email protected])
Jen Der Yuen, CMS PTO Vice-President
Jennifer Alfaro and Anya Kuligina, Ormondale PTO Co-Presidents ([email protected])

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is independent from The Portola Valley Schools Foundation (PVSF). The PVSF has a mission to raise additional funds to benefit Portola Valley schools. Through generous donations, the non-profit, all-volunteer PVSF is able to contribute approximately 10 percent of the district’s annual budget. This yearly contribution helps fund programs such as STEM and art, as well as small class sizes, additional teachers, classroom aides, reading specialists, physical education, and music programs.
