Registration for 4th & 5th grade basketball open
We are excited to offer a 4th and 5th Grade basketball program this year in line with what is offered to our CMS Middle School students as part of the Menlo Park League. Based on a survey completed in PE, there does not seem to be enough interest for a 4th grade girls team this year. If there are 4th grade girls that register, they can play with the 5th grade team. Season: November - Mid March Game Location: All games will take place at the Arrillaga Gym in Menlo Park. Game days are Saturdays for 3rd grade boys/girls, 4th grade boys and 5th grade boys. 5th grade girls will play on Thursdays. Parents are responsible for all transportation. There is a minimum of 9 players and a maximum of 12 players on each team. When the registration cap is hit, please register for the waitlist (link below the team information and registration). If we get 6 more players registered on the waitlist at your grade level and have enough volunteer coaches, we will create 2 teams of 9 (which is the league minimum to register). Basketball Suggested Donation: $300
Our ability to offer individual sports depends upon donations from the families of student participants. Your donation supports the many expenses associated with offering a quality and competitive after school sports program, including equipment, officials, league fees, scorekeepers, and uniforms. Based upon the actual cost of offering an after school sports program, we are asking each family to make a donation of $300 per student. While a donation is not required, if we do not receive sufficient participant donations, the program may be cancelled and all donations will be returned. Funds are available for those in need and requests made to the school principal will be handled confidentially.

We believe there may be enough interest for two teams. Each group will have 2 practices per week. One of those practices will be a combined scrimmage with the other team.
5th Grade Girls
Waitlist: When a team hits registration capacity, the link will let you know that registration is closed. It is important to fill out this form so we know exactly how many players are interested in participating. If this form collects enough players to form a 2nd team, you will be notified and a new registration link will be sent to the email you provide on the waitlist form.
