WELCOME TO THE PVSD PTO!
The purpose of the Portola Valley Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to promote and support the education and welfare of the students in the Portola Valley School District and to strengthen the relationship between home and school by facilitating communication and encouraging cooperation among parents, teachers, administrators, the school board and the community. As you may know, the purpose of the PV-PTO is to foster and support our unique school communities through:
This is a very unique year and we are working hard to ensure that our students and teachers have everything they need to make this year a success. We may not be able to offer the same programs as in the past, but the support that we are providing to the teachers, students, and the families of this school district is more important than ever. All parents are invited and encouraged to participate in the PV-PTO’s activities. Your involvement in your child’s school does make a difference!
Funds to support all PTO-sponsored programs are generated through direct donations from parents like you and parent-coordinated fundraisers. We are excited about the fundraising events we have planned for this school year, including community businesses such Bianchini’s Market, Honey Bear Trees and Minted. Watch the PTO Weekly for more info!
